A man has died after being swept away by a ‘very dangerous’ ‘bull’ in a popular tourist spot in the national capital.
The incident took place on Sunday night near the iconic “Mango Hill” in the heart of the city.
The man, a student, was swept from his boat after he was spotted on a narrow beach by a passing tourist.
The tourist, who was not identified, then called police who rescued the man.
A statement on the Delhi Police’s Facebook page said the man was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.
The statement said the incident happened in the vicinity of a popular park called “Mangos Hill”.
Police said the tourist, aged between 30 and 40, had a history of drinking alcohol and had recently started to suffer from mental illness.
